The 2013 show was a success!
The weather forecasts were against us as there was a 60% chance of thunderstorms predicted just the day before (Friday). Several folks coming long distances understandably cancelled Friday night and Saturday morning.
I arrived at JJ's at 2:00 PM and set up a tent and settled in. At 2:30 I began taking the tent down as the clouds looked very ominous.
At 3:00 folks began to arrive. 16 cars turned up in spite of the foul weather predictions. We had a nice mix of survivors, show cars, working vehicles and daily drivers. Third, Fourth and fifth generation Elkies were all well represented.
Prudence dictated that the event was cut short, not a drop of rain fell on us despite the dire predictions.
As you can tell from the pictures, good time was had by all!
